Description

Rafael is part of the Labor Law team at A/C/R. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive day-to-day advice to clients on labor issues, development of complex judicial strategies, advice on collective bargaining and dealing with unions, advice on administrative and judicial proceedings for work-related accidents and occupational diseases, and immigration matters.

In addition, he leads and develops the personal data protection practice, advising clients on the design and implementation of regulatory compliance models, data processing audits, review of processing operations, policies and contracts, management of data subjects' rights, data transfers, relationships with suppliers and processors, and regulatory risk assessment.

Relevant Experience

·       Advisory services for employers and collective bargaining. He has guided both national and multinational clients in the implementation of Chile's new data protection law, which will come into effect in December 2026, including the structuring of contracts and data processing clauses, assessment of processing activities, and responses to data subjects exercising their rights.

·       Impact assessments on data protection, cross-border data transfers, privacy policies, internal governance frameworks, and employee monitoring protocols.
